Patricia Ross

Biography

Trish Ross has had a varied (or checkered) career. She is a midwife, ordained in the Episcopal Church, and for 25 years worked in corporate training and organizational development and in higher education. Her formal education includes midwifery, theology, and human development. She has been involved with domestic violence and sexual assault accompaniment programs and food programs. Trish also developed classes for peer support volunteers in an AIDS/HIV support agency and for lay chaplains in rural hospitals. As MOMS' Education Director, Trish combines these experiences to ensure that MOMS work is instructionally sound. With MOMS, Trish has traveled to Sierra Leone 20 times and trained over 375 women. Trish is also on the Board of Directors of the Association of Midwifery Educators. Trish is married to Co-presenter Christie McManus, and they have five children, eight grandchildren, and three dogs.
