Susi Delaney

Biography

Susi Delaney, MA, CPM has practiced midwifery in southern Maine since 2007. She relishes supporting the next generation of midwives as an instructor at Midwives College of Utah and at Birthwise Midwifery School. Susi has served as the clinical director at Birthwise and on the board and staff of the Association of Midwifery Educators. She currently serves on the Maine Newborn Hearing Program Board, supporting access to hearing screening for babies born out-of-hospital in Maine. Susi has spent the past 8 years navigating what it means to be a white mother in a blended transracial family and striving to raise two children who can respect themselves and others, with the amazing support of her husband and lots of walks with her dogs.
